Position: Part-Time Emergency Nurse at Fraser Health

Fraser Health is looking for a Registered Nurse with a specialty in emergency care to join the team until May 2027. As part of the Emergency Department, you will execute comprehensive patient assessments and collaboratively develop treatment plans with families.

Your role will also involve coordinating care and effectively communicating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments

• Collaborate in developing personalized care plans

• Support nursing tasks through delegation and coordination

• Maintain detailed patient care documentation

• Engage in staff training and mentoring

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with BCCNM

• Relevant post-graduate emergency nursing coursework

• Proficient in patient communication and education

• Ability to prioritize critical care activities

• Capable of meeting the physical demands of nursing
