We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with clinical expertise for the PACU at Burnaby Hospital in Burnaby, B.C. This relief part-time role is crucial as we embark on an ambitious redevelopment project, enhancing our medical facilities for community health. Your responsibilities will include assessing post-anaesthetic patients, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring a safe recovery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess post anaesthetic patients and document care

• Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care

• Maintain therapeutic environments by adhering to safety protocols

• Initiate and modify care based on patient needs

• Mentor nursing students and new staff

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Active BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse

• One year recent relevant clinical experience

• Proficient in IV Therapy and patient assessment

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
