We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with a critical care background for a vital role in our Level One Trauma Centre in New Westminster, B.C. Experience in cardiac surgery and completion of a Critical Care Level 2 course are essential. This position emphasizes effective communication and teamwork while managing life-threatening conditions in patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan comprehensive nursing care for patients
• Collect health information through observation and communication
• Write accurate reports on patient care and family education
• Consult with health care professionals regarding patient care
• Advocate for patients' rights and maintain a safe environment
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Critical Care Level 2 course completed
• One year cardiac surgery experience minimum
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties
