As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit. Your responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes to ensure optimal care. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team and advocate for patient rights, contributing to quality improvement and staff education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan nursing care based on patient needs

• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members

• Document timely and accurate observations and care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Provide education and support to patients and families

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved nursing school

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Completion of Critical Care Level 2 course

• One year of Cardiac Surgery experience

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
