As part of Fraser Health, you will deliver compassionate nursing care to childbearing patients. The position involves patient assessment, care planning, and working closely with an inter-professional team dedicated to fostering positive experiences during pregnancy and childbirth. Your expertise will directly impact the well-being of both mothers and infants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patients and their unborn babies
• Collaborate on care plans within the Maternal Program
• Educate families regarding health during pregnancy
• Engage in discharge planning and coordination
• Document all care and interventions accurately
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with current BCCNM registration
• At least one year of clinical perinatal experience
• Current certifications in NRP and Basic Rescuer
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
