Enhance mental health care at Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse specializing in Geriatric or Youth populations. Deliver comprehensive care through assessment, treatment, and collaboration in a supportive team environment.
This role requires current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health and substance use, providing case management, crisis intervention, and patient advocacy for our diverse client base. Leverage your expertise to educate caregivers and community professionals while fostering person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for clients
• Develop and implement treatment plans effectively
• Provide education on mental health and substance use
• Collaborate with interprofessional care teams for client needs
• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to services
Requirements:
• Current RN/RPN registration with BCCNM
• Two years of relevant nursing experience
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License and personal vehicle
• Knowledge of mental health treatment practices
• Strong communication and teaching abilities
