Location: New Westminster
Join the team at Queens Park Care Centre in Current Westminster, B.C. as a Nurse Clinician focusing on skin and wound care. Your nursing skills will help enhance patient outcomes through specialized care.
In this Nurse Clinician role, you will provide expert consultation and educational support in skin and wound care management. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team will be key as you monitor patient progress, train staff, and advocate for high-quality standards of care. Your leadership will drive initiatives for improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Guide clinical practices in skin and wound care
- Offer direct mentorship and education to nursing staff
- Assess educational needs for clinical improvements
- Participate in committees for quality enhancement
- Support patient education about discharge planning
- Registration as a Nurse with BCCNM
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in wound care
- One year of leadership or educational experience
- Relevant post-graduate education required
- Valid driver's license for business use
