Position: Critical Care Registered Nurse Opportunity

Take on a rewarding role as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. This position focuses on intensive nursing care for critically ill patients.

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse passionate about providing exceptional care in our Level One Trauma Centre. You'll engage in both patient assessment and collaborative planning, ensuring critical needs are met through effective nursing interventions and support.

Your role will also involve education and advocacy, empowering patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and determine nursing diagnoses

• Collaborate with families on care plans

• Participate in discharge planning and aftercare processes

• Liaise with healthcare professionals for coordinated care

• Provide guidance to patients and families on health issues

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

• Current registration with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support required

• Skills in effective communication with diverse populations

• Ability to fulfill the physical demands of nursing
