Position: Full Time NICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Elevate your nursing career with a Full Time NICU Registered Nurse position at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. This role is integral to caring for vulnerable newborns in a specialized environment.

In this Relief position, you will utilize your advanced nursing skills to assess, plan, and provide critical care for neonates. Your collaboration with the interdisciplinary team will be essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of every newborn. This role is available until about July 2027 or until the current RN returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments of newborns

• Deliver care during high-risk neonatal deliveries

• Document nursing actions and patient observations

• Engage in collaborative care planning with specialists

• Maintain compliance with infection control guidelines

Requirements:

• Graduate nurse with B.C. College registration

• One year of NICU experience preferred

• Completion of a specialized Neonatal Nursing Program

• Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Rescuer certifications

• Effective communication and organizational skills
