Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse specializing in Mental Health & Substance Use care, focusing on impactful patient support. Utilize your skills in recovery-oriented practices across specialized populations.
In this RN/RPN role, you will provide assessment, treatment, and follow-up services, collaborating with an interprofessional care team. Engage with clients and caregivers through education, ongoing assessments, and crisis interventions in unique environments like Geriatric Mental Health and Youth Developmental Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical nursing services to referred clients and their caregivers
• Monitor treatment plans, medications, and outcomes
• Educate professionals on substance use issues
• Advocate for client rights and access to services
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Active BCCNM registration as RN/RPN
• At least two years of relevant nursing experience
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
