Lead the nursing program at Age Care Royal City in New Westminster, BC. This full-time Director of Care role emphasizes exceptional leadership and a commitment to person-centred care for residents.

Age Care is seeking a dedicated Director of Care to manage nursing operations in a vibrant long-term care community. You will provide coaching, support the nursing staff, and ensure resident and employee satisfaction. Your expertise will drive compliance with quality indicators and health care regulations while managing the complex care needs of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and coaching to nursing staff

• Ensure achievement of Resident Satisfaction and Employee Engagement targets

• Maintain compliance with quality indicators and regulations

• Oversee nursing budget management and departmental goals

• Uphold health care records and medication safekeeping

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Nursing required

• Minimum three years as a Registered Nurse in management

• One year experience in long-term care settings

• Current RN registration with Provincial licensing body

• Completed Nursing Unit Administrator Program required
