Elevate your nursing career at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C. Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Intensive Care Unit in a Level One Trauma Centre.
As a Registered Nurse in our critical care unit, you will provide essential nursing support to patients with severe respiratory and cardiac needs. This role requires collaboration with healthcare teams to implement effective care plans while ensuring optimal patient outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in patient assessments, education, and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions using clinical reasoning
• Collaborate with families to create care plans
• Coordinate nursing tasks and delegate responsibilities
• Document patient care and progress accurately
• Teach patients about health maintenance and restoration
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School
• Current registration with the BCCNM
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
