Position: Registered Nurse for Cardiac Triage Services

In this pivotal role, you will perform patient screening and facilitate cardiac intervention placements at Royal Columbian Hospital, conveniently located near Sapperton Sky Train station. You’ll engage closely with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure a smooth care pathway, supporting individuals awaiting life-changing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed pre-admission interviews and assessments

• Educate patients on their cardiovascular health

• Enter and manage patient data within clinical systems

• Communicate patient status to care teams promptly

• Participate in cardiology team discussions and evaluations

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program

• Active registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM

• Minimum two years of nursing experience in cardiac care

• Excellent assessment and communication skills

• Ability to teach health concepts effectively
