Position: Director of Care at AgeCare Royal City
Location: New Westminster

Lead resident care at Age Care Royal City as the Director of Care in New Westminster, BC. Ensure high-quality nursing services by effectively managing the Care Department and supporting staff excellence.

As the Director of Care, you will report directly to the Executive Director and oversee Resident Care Services r role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and achieving satisfaction metrics while working closely with nursing staff. It requires a commitment to person-centered care and adherence to the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and coaching to nursing staff

• Achieve resident satisfaction and employee engagement targets

• Ensure compliance with regulatory health care standards

• Manage department budgets and performance indicators

• Supervise the safekeeping of health care records

Requirements:

• Nursing degree or diploma required

• 3 years managerial experience as a Registered Nurse

• 1 year experience in long-term care setting

• Active nursing registration with provincial licensing

• Current CPR certification required
