Elevate your nursing career as a Casual Registered Nurse in the PACU with Clearpoint Health Network in New Westminster. This vital role offers a competitive hourly wage of $60 and requires recent PACU experience.
New Westminster Surgical Centre is seeking three Casual Registered Nurses for its PACU. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensure patient safety through strict adherence to policies, and maintain excellent documentation. Your skills in patient assessment and information confidentiality will be essential as you support a high standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
• Adhere to infection control and medication procedures
• Document patient care accurately in medical records
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Participate in educational programs and support new staff
Requirements:
• Completion of accredited nursing program with 2-3 years experience
• Certification in peri-anesthesia or critical care nursing
• Current BCLS-HCP and ACLS certifications
• Experience in managing intubated patients and ECG analysis
• Current immunizations and tuberculin testing
