At Providence Health Care, you will be an integral part of a collaborative healthcare environment, guided by the Resident Care Manager. Your work will involve interactions with residents, families, and a skilled interdisciplinary team, ensuring a person-centered approach to healthcare. Establish meaningful relationships while significantly contributing to the comfort and happiness of long-term care residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to policies while providing individual nursing care
• Monitor signs and symptoms, conducting patient assessments
• Prepare and coordinate patient transfers and admissions
• Administer medications and follow up on effects
• Support with discharge planning and facilitate learning needs
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Practical Nursing program
• Active registration with the BC College of Nurses
• CPR certification valid and up to date
• Ability to teach and prioritize work effectively
• Good physical health for fulfilling job requirements
