Position: Director of Care at AgeCare Royal City
Location: New Westminster

Lead the Nursing Department as the Director of Care at Age Care Royal City in New Westminster, BC. This full-time role emphasizes resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and effective team engagement.

As the Director of Care, you will report to the Executive Director and oversee Resident Care Services in a long-term care setting. You will provide leadership and coaching to the nursing staff and achieve targets for both Resident Satisfaction and Employee Engagement. Additionally, you will manage nursing operations, ensuring compliance with health care regulations and departmental budget goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support nursing staff to deliver exceptional care

• Achieve quality indicators per company and Ministry guidelines

• Ensure compliance with regulatory health care standards

• Manage department budget efficiently for optimal care

• Foster a culture of trust and teamwork in the facility

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Nursing with current RN registration

• Minimum three years managerial experience in nursing

• One year experience in long-term care sector

• Current C.P.R. certification required

• Vulnerable Sector Check must be obtained
