You will be providing assessment, treatment, and educational services to clients and caregivers, adhering to the standards set by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. With your experience, you will manage treatment plans and supervise nursing students, while advocating for patient dignity and access to care resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough nursing assessments and case management
• Deliver educational sessions on mental health topics
• Facilitate treatment interventions and medication compliance
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Document outcomes and referrals for continued care
Requirements:
• Must have active RN/RPN registration with BCCNM
• At least two years of related nursing experience
• Knowledge of mental health and substance use issues
• B.C. Driver's License and access to a vehicle
• Strong ability to liaise and build networks with agencies
Engage professionally with specialized populations while enhancing mental health care through effective support and intervention strategies.
