Become a vital part of Royal Columbian Hospital’s Critical Care team in New Westminster, B.C. As an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will offer high-level, empathetic care to patients facing life-threatening conditions.
This position requires specialty qualifications in critical care to deliver top-tier nursing support. You will work collaboratively in a Level One Trauma Centre, effectively assessing and planning care for patients. Your experience will directly impact patient recovery through advanced support and education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on developing personalized care plans
• Conduct thorough patient assessments
• Engage in discharge planning with the care team
• Teach families about health management
• Document all patient care details accurately
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with current BCCNM certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Critical care experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
