Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse at Royal Columbian

Location: New Westminster

Join the Royal Columbian Hospital team as a Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse, leveraging your skills in cardiac intervention and patient care. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

In this position, you'll provide direct patient care following BCCNM standards while collaborating effectively with an interprofessional care team. You'll assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and educate families on health maintenance. Your nursing interventions will directly contribute to patient recovery and satisfaction in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patients using observation and data review

• Develop collaborative care plans with patients and families

• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks to support staff

• Educate patients and families on health management

• Document all nursing assessments and interventions

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved Nursing School

• Current RN registration with BCCNM

• Completion of relevant Cardiology courses

• One year of experience in cardiology or telemetry

• Basic Rescuer Certificate
