As a TMS Licensed Practical Nurse at Fraser Health, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care. This position involves monitoring clients with treatment-resistant depression, ensuring informed consent, and administering TMS therapies. You will also coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and uphold the standards set by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer TMS treatments while monitoring client responses
• Facilitate informed consent and educate clients on TMS
• Document nursing assessments and client interactions accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal client care
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide emotional support
Requirements:
• Licensed Practical Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Completion of TMS-specific training
• Two years of relevant nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of mental health practices
• Ability to engage diverse populations with cultural sensitivity
