Join Fraser Health as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Support clients with treatment-resistant depression in a caring, collaborative environment.
As a key member of the TMS team, you will provide individualized direct nursing care to clients before, during, and after TMS treatments.
Your role includes administering TMS, conducting psychosocial assessments, and creating care plans with clients and families. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team, ensuring respectful and effective client care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to TMS clients
• Administer TMS and monitor client progress
• Foster therapeutic relationships with clients and families
• Document nursing assessments and treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for client care
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration in British Columbia
• Completion of TMS training
• Two years’ nursing experience in acute or community care
• Knowledge of psychiatric care models
• Skills in CPR and psychiatric nursing
