Join Royal Columbian Hospital as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in New Westminster, B.C. Deliver vital nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit for patients facing life-threatening conditions.
As a speciality Registered Nurse with critical care experience, you'll work in a Level One Trauma Centre. Your expertise in advanced respiratory and cardiac support will be essential as you collaborate with the care team to provide person-centered care. Expect an engaging role as you assess patients, develop care plans, and ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients using observation and data collection
• Collaborate with families on care plan development
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to support staff
• Train patients and families in health maintenance
• Document all care actions in compliance with standards
Requirements:
• Current R.N. registration with BCCNM
• Completion of post-graduate coursework (preferred)
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Clinical assessment skills in nursing
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams
