As a crucial member of the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to patients in high-stress environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients

• Communicate with health care team members about patient care

• Write accurate reports on patient observations

• Participate in quality improvement and research activities

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in B.C.

• Completion of Critical Care Level 2 course

• One year of Cardiac Surgery experience or two years critical care experience

• Basic Rescuer Certificate required

• Strong communication and organizational skills
