Part Time Nursing Laboratory Demonstrator

Enhance nursing education at Langara College as a part time Laboratory Demonstrator. Facilitate hands-on experiences and coordinate lab operations for aspiring nurses in Vancouver, B.C.

Reporting to the Nursing Division Chair, this temporary position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and practical nursing experience. You'll perform individual and group laboratory demonstrations while organizing lab materials and equipment. This role is crucial in supporting nursing students' learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate nursing procedures and skills effectively

• Coordinate laboratory operations and maintain supplies

• Set up equipment and instructional aids as needed

• Provide administrative support to the Nursing Division

• Supervise and guide nursing students during labs

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required

• Current BCCNM membership was essential

• 2-4 years nursing experience in acute care

• Experience in practical instruction or teaching

• Ability to communicate and organize effectively
