Burnaby Hospital is searching for a dedicated ICU Nurse to join their team. This role requires collaboration with an interprofessional care team to provide person-centered care while assessing and evaluating patient needs. You will also participate in specialty nursing courses to enhance your skills and ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients and determine appropriate nursing interventions
• Develop and modify individualized care plans with patients
• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks to support staff
• Teach families about health maintenance and prevention
• Document all patient interactions and outcomes accurately
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BCCNM membership
• Completion of a relevant post-graduate specialty course
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Strong communication skills with interprofessional teams
• Physical capability to perform nursing duties
