Interventional Cardiology Nurse Royal Columbian

Location: New Westminster

Elevate cardiac patient care at Royal Columbian Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Focus on delivering exceptional nursing services while utilizing your expertise in cardiac intervention.

This role seeks a Registered Nurse with experience in cardiac interventions. You will provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions in acute care. Collaborate with an interprofessional care team, ensuring comprehensive support and patient advocacy throughout treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Coordinate care as per physician orders and hospital policies

• Modify patient care based on evolving needs

• Educate patients and families on procedures and care

• Ensure proper setup of equipment for procedures

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with BCCNM

• Completion of Post Basic Critical Care course or equivalent

• 1 year of recent cardiac monitoring experience

• Current CPR and ACLS certifications

• Demonstrated ability in patient assessment and emergency response
