Join Royal Columbian Hospital’s Cardiac Intensive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse. We’re looking for a skilled nurse with cardiac intervention experience to provide high-quality patient care.

In the heart of New Westminster, you will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care tailored to cardiac patients. This role emphasizes clinical excellence and the ability to connect with families to enhance patient experiences. Your contributions will ensure the delivery of comprehensive care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop nursing diagnoses

• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families

• Implement and update individualized care plans

• Facilitate patient education on health maintenance

• Document care interventions and patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives

• Completion of a relevant post-basic course

• At least one year of cardiac monitoring experience

• Strong organizational and collaborative abilities
