As a pivotal member of the Mobile Integrated Crisis Response team, you will provide effective interventions for individuals facing mental health crises. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and advocating for clients’ needs.
Your role involves significant collaboration with police officers, ensuring that urgent issues are addressed in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients in crisis and determine intervention needs
• Work with police on mental health emergency calls
• Develop treatment options based on client assessments
• Manage medications and provide education on their use
• Engage in documentation of care and patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program
• Minimum two years of experience in mental health
• Full registration with BCCNM
• Class 5 BC Driver's License with vehicle access
• Must pass Enhanced Security Police Clearance
