As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work closely with the Care Team to create and modify resident care plans. Your responsibilities include performing nursing procedures, ensuring safety, and documenting changes in resident condition. You will also handle medication administration while maintaining a safe working environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan resident care collaboratively
• Administer medications and document observations
• Perform nursing procedures including colostomy care
• Contribute to the interdisciplinary care meetings
• Respond to incidents and report accurately
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program
• Minimum two years’ experience with elderly populations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to fulfill role requirements
• Ability to organize tasks and use related equipment
