In this casual clinician role, you will utilize your nursing expertise to assess, coordinate, and prioritize care for hospice palliative clients. With your strong communication and conflict resolution skills, you will guide nursing staff and ensure adherence to best practices. Your leadership will foster a collaborative environment that enhances the team's capability to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate client activities and assessments in hospice care
• Mentor staff and role model effective communication
• Consult with teams to improve care strategies
• Implement clinical education programs and assess outcomes
• Support quality improvement initiatives and audits
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with BCCNM
• Minimum three years of relevant clinical experience
• Leadership experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Completion of CNA certification in hospice care
• Valid BC Driver's License and reliable transport
