Make an impact as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit at Royal Columbian Hospital. Your expertise in critical care will support patients facing life-threatening conditions.

We invite experienced nurses to provide critical nursing care at our Level One Trauma Centre in New Westminster, B.C. This role requires a critical care background, with a mandatory completion of a Critical Care Level 2 course and cardiac surgery experience. Experience effective communication and teamwork while managing complex patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions

• Gather patient information through direct assessment

• Maintain accurate patient care documentation

• Communicate care plans to patients and healthcare teams

• Ensure patient rights and safety protocols are followed

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with active registration from BCCNM

• Critical Care Level 2 certification required

• One year of recent cardiac surgery experience

• Strong written and spoken communication abilities

• Ability to perform physical job duties
