As part of our CICU, you will assess patients, coordinate care, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to optimize recovery.
Your role will include teaching patients and families about effective health maintenance approaches, while you also engage in professional development and quality initiatives for our unit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients and establish nursing diagnoses
• Collaborate on care plans with families and care teams
• Prioritize nursing tasks and delegate responsibilities
• Provide health education to patients and caregivers
• Ensure meticulous documentation practices
Requirements:
• Active registration with BCCNM
• Completion of relevant critical care education
• Recent experience in a cardiac monitoring unit
• Basic Rescuer Certificate valid
• Exceptional teamwork and patient advocacy skills
