Position: Licensed Practical Nurse for Surgery Care
Location: New Westminster

Clearpoint Health Network seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver quality care from pre-admission to post-operative recovery. Contribute to patient-centered service at New Westminster Surgical Centre.

In this role, you will perform pre-admission assessments and coordinate essential diagnostic tests. Collaborate with healthcare professionals while ensuring patient safety and quality care. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments and have strong communication and assessment skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-admission assessments and patient screenings

• Manage required diagnostic testing and report findings

• Ensure patients are ready for surgical procedures

• Monitor nursing care during post-operative recovery

• Educate patients on discharge instructions and care

Requirements:

• Active LPN registration with regulatory body

• At least one year of recent nursing experience

• Preferred experience in day surgery or PACU

• Current BLS certification needed; ACLS beneficial

• Excellent critical thinking and organizational abilities
