Enhance community health as an RN or RPN in Fraser Health's Rapid ACC Addictions Clinic. This role focuses on improving outcomes for clients with substance use challenges through dedicated nursing care.
Your primary responsibilities will involve assessing patients' needs, developing comprehensive care plans, and providing direct nursing services. You will facilitate group sessions and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client recovery. This position is essential to promoting best practices in addictions care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct physical and psychosocial assessments
• Process medical orders and administer prescribed medications
• Manage critical emergencies and provide immediate intervention
• Act as a resource for clients and healthcare team members
• Support quality improvement and risk management activities
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Nursing Program
• Valid RN/RPN registration with the BCCNM
• At least one year of experience in related field
• Knowledge of mental illness treatment principles
• Strong communication and client education skills
