Location: New Westminster
Join Royal Columbian Hospital's Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit as an experienced Registered Nurse. Contribute to advanced cardiac patient care in a critical setting.
This role calls for a Registered Nurse with a critical care background at a Level One Trauma Centre. You will provide exceptional nursing care for patients requiring advanced cardiac support. Key skills include strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork, all while ensuring adherence to nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs and outcomes
• Collect data using observation and assessment skills
• Document and report nursing care observations
• Communicate care plans with patients and families
• Advocate for patient rights and dignity
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BCCNM certification
• Completion of Critical Care Level 2 course
• One year of Cardiac Surgery experience
• Minimum two years in critical care overall
• Current Basic Rescuer Certificate
