Provide intensive care nursing at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, supporting patients requiring advanced respiratory and cardiac support.
Fraser Health seeks an experienced, specialty-qualified Registered Nurse with critical care experience for its Level One Trauma Centre. You will deliver direct, person-centered care in the Intensive Care Unit, guided by BCCNM standards and Fraser Health values. The position requires assessment, care planning, collaboration, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients and evaluate nursing interventions
- Coordinate care with patients, families, and interprofessional teams
- Develop and update care and discharge plans
- Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and referrals
- Teach patients and families about health care
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
- Current BCCNM practicing registration as a Registered Nurse
- Applicable postgraduate coursework or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Physical ability to perform position duties
