Deliver advanced critical care as a Registered Nurse in Royal Columbian Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit in New Westminster, B.C. Apply respiratory and cardiac support expertise.
Fraser Health seeks an experienced, specialty-qualified Registered Nurse with a critical care background for a Level One Trauma Centre. You will provide person-centered nursing care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The position requires assessment, care planning, collaboration, documentation, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients and evaluate nursing interventions
- Provide advanced respiratory and cardiac support care
- Coordinate care and collaborate with interprofessional teams
- Teach patients and families about health care
- Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and referrals
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
- Current British Columbia College registration as a Registered Nurse
- Applicable postgraduate coursework or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Ability to perform the position’s physical duties
