Fraser Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner for its Structural Heart Services team at Royal Columbian Hospital. This consultative, co-managed position supports cardiologists and multidisciplinary professionals caring for complex cardiac patients. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication prescribing, referrals, and follow-up care.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate care for TAVI and Mitra Clip patients
- Assess, diagnose, and treat undifferentiated conditions
- Order investigations and interpret diagnostic reports
- Develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians and health professionals
- Current BCCNM practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience
- Ability to prescribe within regulatory standards
- Ability to communicate with patients and families
- Ability to collaborate, lead, teach, and mentor
