Pay Rate: $36.60/hr

• Perform all required ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by crew leader.
• Demonstrate high safety standards, sound tree risk assessment skills, equipment inspection skills, proper application of approved knots, proper climbing techniques, proper pruning and small removal skills, and proper rigging skills.
• Assist with driving, backing, dumping and parking duties as required.
• Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies and participate in safety training sessions.
• Maintain assigned company gear and equipment.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with crew members and crew leader.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader or designated supervisor, Arborist Representative, or Local Manager.

• Minimum 1 year of experience climbing with an arborist‑approved climbing system and bucket operation in the tree care industry.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Secondary school required.
• Formal training or qualifications in chainsaw maintenance and cutting, aerial cutting using chainsaw, and felling and processing trees required.
• Degree or Diploma in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in English language.
