Take charge as a Safety Manager focused on Occupational Health & Safety across multiple facilities. Drive compliance and implement effective safety programs to enhance workplace safety.
In this role, you will leverage your 5+ years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety within manufacturing or distribution environments. Your key responsibilities will include leading safety program development, conducting thorough investigations for incidents, and maintaining an audit-ready safety environment in line with Work Safe BC requirements. You will also engage teams through training to secure a robust safety culture across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own safety program development and implementation
• Lead root-cause analysis for workplace incidents
• Manage first aid protocols effectively
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments
• Deliver training to promote workplace safety
Requirements:
• 5+ years of OHS experience in relevant sectors
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced First Aid (OFA Level
3) certification
• Familiarity with safety legislation and policies
• Strong investigation and communication capabilities
