Location: New Westminster
Job Overview
Reports to:
Supervisor, Manufacturing Quality Control.
Location:
New Westminster.
- Become familiar with Arc’teryx product specifications, samples, testing methods, and the Arc’teryx Quality Control manual, and apply them to inspections.
- Perform water leakage tests on the production line assigned.
- Conduct in‑line inspections for workmanship and defects according to company standards.
- Efficiently perform quality inspections to meet daily production targets.
- Record inspection results and complete all documentation in a timely manner.
- Notify appropriate supervisors when discrepancies are found between approved samples and production results.
- Collaborate with operators, team leaders, and supervisors to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in projects and tasks as assigned, including 5S and other housekeeping initiatives.
- Perform in‑line quality control inspections on a wide array of products, including waterproof and non‑waterproof garments, harnesses, technical packs, and more.
- Inspect raw materials and pre‑production processes for quality compliance.
- Previous experience in quality control and/or the garment industry.
- Accurate color acuity.
- Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision, and to collaborate effectively as a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Basic computer knowledge with the ability to operate a tablet and perform simple data entry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
- Proactive in identifying root causes of issues and developing solutions.
- Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.
- Seeking the best solutions, with an unwavering commitment to quality.
- Basic knowledge of a spoken second language.
- Knowledge of Arc’teryx’s unique products.

The starting pay for distribution workers is CAD $21.00 hourly at the time of this posting, with a reasonable estimated pay range of CAD $21.00–$23.00 within 12 months upon skill assessment.
