Position: QA/QC Inspector – Building Envelope / Facade Systems

About Siber Facade Group

Siber Facade Group is a Canadian facade contractor specializing in window wall, curtain wall, storefront, and architectural envelope systems. We work on high-rise and complex construction projects across Western Canada and are growing our onsite Quality Assurance / Quality Control team.

We are currently seeking a QA/QC Inspector to support our field operations and help ensure our facade systems are installed to the highest standards.

Position Summary

The QA/QC Inspector is an onsite quality control professional responsible for reviewing facade installations, identifying deficiencies, coordinating corrective actions, and producing professional inspection reports.

This role works closely with Project Managers, installation teams, General Contractors, and consultants throughout project construction.

Responsibilities Field Inspections
  • Conduct onsite inspections of Window Wall, Curtain Wall, Storefront, and Cladding systems.
  • Review installation quality and site conditions.
  • Verify work against drawings and specifications.
  • Identify deficiencies and installation issues.
  • Participate in site walkthroughs and quality reviews.
QA/QC Reporting
  • Prepare detailed inspection and deficiency reports.
  • Maintain photo documentation and field records.
  • Track deficiencies through completion.
  • Complete floor sign-offs and project quality reviews.
  • Support project closeout and completion documentation.
Coordination
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, Install crews, General Contractors, and Consultants.
  • Communicate quality concerns and corrective actions clearly and professionally.
Inspection Scheduling & Time Management
  • Coordinate and schedule inspections across multiple active projects.
  • Plan and manage daily and weekly site inspection schedules.
  • Prioritize inspections based on project milestones and construction schedules.
  • Ensure timely completion of inspections, reporting, and follow-up reviews.
  • Maintain organized inspection calendars and coordinate site access with project teams.
  • Work proactively to avoid delays in quality reviews and project sign-offs.
Qualifications

Preferred experience includes:

  • Building envelope or facade construction
  • Curtain wall, window wall, glazing, or related systems
  • QA/QC or field inspection experience
  • Ability to read shop drawings and construction details
  • Strong organization and report-writing skills
  • Experience with digital reporting and construction software
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
