Position: Electrical EIT for Quality Testing
Enhance quality assurance practices at RIC Power by becoming an Electrical Engineering in Training for QC and Testing. Work primarily in Burnaby, BC, focusing on testing medium voltage switch gear and control systems.

This position at RIC Power Corporation involves rigorous in-house testing and quality assurance of newly manufactured electrical equipment. As an Electrical EIT, you will ensure that products meet high-quality standards and design specifications before shipment. You will utilize your technical expertise in a controlled environment, with only occasional travel for field support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough functional testing of protection and control schemes

• Conduct high-voltage tests including Hi-Pot and Heat Run

• Lead and mentor a small testing team in safety protocols

• Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with Engineering and Production

• Lead Factory Acceptance Tests to showcase equipment performance

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant testing experience

• Expert in interpreting electrical drawings and hands-on testing

• Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail

• Proficient in MS Office for reporting

• Preferred experience in switch gear manufacturing environment
