Kardium is looking for a Calibration Technician in Burnaby, BC, to help revolutionize heart care with our advanced medical devices. You will manage the calibration processes vital to device performance.
As a key member of our team, this on-site role requires a solid background in calibration management, including a minimum of three years of experience. You will coordinate calibration tasks, ensure adherence to industry standards like ISO 17025, and support engineering initiatives aimed at continuous improvement. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will enhance the quality of our life-changing devices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage calibration lifecycle for biomedical devices
• Collaborate with vendors for equipment logistics
• Define calibration requirements with experts
• Validate calibration certificates for compliance
• Test and support equipment engineering tasks
Requirements:
• At least 3 years in calibration management
• Technical diploma or equivalent experience
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with ISO standards and measurement tools
• Capability to lift equipment weighing up to 25 kg
