Management Systems Auditor

Homebased - British Columbia

Responsible for delivering BSI’s audit services to assigned clients in accordance with all BSI, scheme and regulatory requirements to assure timely, cost‑effective service delivery that meets customer satisfaction. The individual will conduct various types of audits as Team Leader or Team Member. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering and at least two years of third‑party auditing experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Bilingual (French and English) preferred.

• Manage a portfolio of assigned clients based on location and ensure a match of qualifications and client contract requirements set by Planners.
• Contact clients, confirm visits, plan assessments, make travel plans, conduct assessments, report and manage results.
• Safely commute to and from the client site and stay overnight when required.
• Monitor client accounts to ensure records, visit cycle, invoicing and related matters are properly handled to maintain client satisfaction.
• Follow the Competence Development plan and requirements set by the Manager.
• Take action toward professional development to reach assessor status and then Lead Assessor status through the prescribed program, maintaining auditor and scheme qualifications.
• Lead teams when necessary and mentor and coach new or inexperienced colleagues as needed to meet business needs.
• Attend required training and follow all BSI procedures, processes and policies for client management, home‑based office management, use of BSI equipment and internal and external communication.
• Perform any other assignments as needed to meet assessment delivery business objectives.

• College degree (AA or higher) or equivalent certification or work experience. Preference will be given to persons with an engineering background.
• At least five years of relevant experience in Quality Management Systems, with at least two years of third‑party auditing experience on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 for an accredited certification body.
