QAI Laboratories is seeking a motivated Electrical Inspector to enhance its Electrical Product Safety Department. This position requires expertise in electrical product testing and field inspection. Travel within BC and Alberta is anticipated, and a flexible schedule is important to accommodate operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct follow-up factory inspections and others per CSA/NFPA standards
• Manage scheduling and reporting activities
• Explain technical findings to clients clearly
• Test various electrical products against national safety standards
• Help maintain the quality system and administrative procedures
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or equivalent in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of electrical product testing experience
• Familiarity with CEC Part 1 and Part 2 & NEC
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
• Ability to operate a forklift, willing to be certified
