Quality Manager at RIC Power Corporation

Take the lead as Quality Manager at RIC Power Corporation in Burnaby, BC. Drive quality excellence in medium voltage switch gear manufacturing while overseeing the QC team and enhancing the Quality Management System.

In this crucial role, you will shape all aspects of the Quality function. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and promote continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). Leading the QC team, you will oversee product acceptance testing, ensuring the highest quality standards are met before product release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee product and process quality for the plant

• Manage the QC team effectively ensuring technical competency

• Develop and improve test procedures aligned with design standards

• Conduct internal audits and management reviews for compliance

• Monitor KPIs and report quality metrics to leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality related field

• Five years of QA/QC leadership in manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards

• Familiarity with ERP and quality management software

• Experience with electrical acceptance testing methods
