Support Fortinet's commitment to quality as a Network QA Expert in Burnaby. This role emphasizes regression and benchmark testing for FortiOS products, leveraging both manual and automated methodologies.
The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of extensive software testing experience, particularly in TCP/IP and related network protocols. You will create, execute, and maintain test cases and specifications while writing automation scripts. Collaboration with developers is vital to ensure defects are promptly identified and addressed, facilitating robust product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regression and benchmark performance tests effectively
• Create and maintain detailed test cases and specifications
• Develop automation scripts to streamline testing processes
• Identify and document software defects during testing
• Communicate effectively within the team to resolve issues
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in software testing
• Strong foundational knowledge of networking protocols
• Skilled in VMware/ESXi and Linux environments
• Familiar with firewalls and packet analysis tools
• Ability to troubleshoot issues logically and analytically
