Upstream Process Development Scientist

Utilize your expertise as an Upstream Process Development Scientist to innovate protein production processes. Focus on optimization and scaling in both cGMP and research contexts to drive efficiency and safety.

In this role, you will utilize your knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert to lead complex projects within a dedicated team. Responsibilities include executing development batches, performing data analyses, and developing manufacturing SOPs. Engaging with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the transfer of robust and efficient processes into production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical project aspects in process development

• Execute development batches while assessing risks

• Analyze data and share findings with stakeholders

• Oversee root cause investigations for non-conformance

• Train team members and liaise with regulatory bodies

Requirements:

• 4+ years' experience with PhD/MSc or 6+ years with Bachelor's

• Strong background in protein production process development

• Experience with bioreactors and high-throughput techniques

• Familiarity with Quality by Design principles

• Proven ability to lead and adapt to project needs
